Colònia de Sant Pere

The settlement of Colònia de Sant Pere, which was founded in 1880, was built on the eastern side of the bay of Alcúdia. Next to the Colònia de Sant Pere urbanisation is the small, remote settlement of Betlem from Artà on the east coast of Mallorca.

The small harbour of Colònia de Sant Pere is often visited by small yachts and is even home to a few fishing boats.
Stand-up paddling and surfboards can also be seen here more and more often.

There are no tower blocks or huge hotels or hotel complexes here like in Palma or other major cities in Mallorca.
Most of the buildings here are one or two storeys high and therefore fit perfectly into the beautiful mountain landscape with its promenade and small beaches.
